Clara Clark Event Management organised the Go for Life National Bowling Expo, on Thursday, 26th September 2002, at the ALSAA Sports Club, Dublin Airport. This was a one-day national showcase exhibition of different bowling activities. Sponsored by Age & Opportunity and the National Sports Council, over 500 older people's groups from all over the country attended. There they participated in: ten-pin bowling, outdoor and indoor bowls, petanque (boules), bocce, horseshoe pitching, road bowling, and curling, as well as the Go for Life sit-fit and better balance presentations. In addition, they saw demonstrated adapted versions of bowling suitable for smaller spaces. See the attached photos taken on the day.
